Oval Filter Cartridges

Oval filter cartridges are compact, high-efficiency filters designed specifically for applications where space constraints meet high airflow demands. Their unique oval shape provides an increased surface area compared to round cartridges of similar height, making them ideal for installations requiring high dust loading and continuous filtration performance.

These cartridges are commonly used in dust collection systems, air intake filtration for compressors and blowers, and industrial ventilation setups. The pleated media design ensures low pressure drop and excellent dust holding capacity, even in challenging environments such as cement, metalworking, powder coating, and shot blasting operations.

With compatibility for both horizontal and vertical mounting orientations, oval cartridges offer flexibility in system design. They are available in a range of filtration media, end cap styles, and gasket types to suit various environmental and process needs.

Design

  • Shape: Space-saving oval design to maximize filtration area and airflow efficiency.

  • Media Options: (a) 100% spunbond polyester and (b) an 80/20 cellulose-synthetic blend. Additional (c) coatings such as flame retardant, antistatic, nanofiber, and water/oil repellent are also available.

  • Micron Ratings: Typically from 0.5 µm to      20 µm depending on media selection

  • Filtration Efficiency: Up to 99.99% on sub-micron particles.

  • Pleat Style: Uniform pleated construction with optimal pleat depth and spacing.

  • Core Material: Perforated galvanized or stainless steel inner support core.

  • End Caps: PU molded or metal; available in open/open or open/closed configurations.

  • Gasket: Seamless EPDM or neoprene gasket for superior sealing.

  • Mounting: Suitable for top-load or bottom-load installations.

  • Cleaning Method: Designed for reverse pulse jet cleaning systems.

  • Applications: Cement plants, powder coating booths, metal cutting/grinding, plasma cutting, general dust extraction.
